Customer Service Specialist to Larodan

Larodan is looking to recruit a Customer Service Specialist to join the company. At Larodan, we make, sell and distribute a comprehensive range of research grade Lipids for customers globally. We also provide Speciality Research Chemicals to the Nordic market, in collaboration with other international research chemicals companies. The company has been providing research grade lipids to the international market since 1963 and our aim is to continue to be the preferred partner for lipid related research, irrespective of the customer’s need or location. Today, we proudly serve over 3000 registered customers worldwide both in academia and within various industries.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our customers from all over the world and be part of our dedicated team of scientific professionals. About the position

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing our customers with high levels of customer service which includes performing a broad range of tasks to meet the need of our clients. You will also share the responsibility for our ERP/Financial system in which inventory/order/invoice is currently managed.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Be main point of contact for customer and distribution partners and provide support for the company’s products
Help solve customer questions and challenges in a timely manner
Respond to inquiries, via phone and email.
Take order request, create quotes and proposals
Prepare documentation such as safety data sheets, certificate of analysis and other product-related documentation
Dosing bulk products into finished products. Labeling, packaging and shipping finished product to customers.
Invoicing customers
Resolve complaints and reclamations
Manage inventory and conducting stock takes
Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge
Share customer insights with team members
Contribute to further development of our systems, routines and practices for the Customer Service function

Your profile

Key qualifications for the position are:
– University degree in chemistry or a related discipline is preferred
– Some experience from a commercial operation within customer service or sales in a technical products company within the Life Science field
– Experience in working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP or Mamut One) is a strong plus
– Excellent writing and communication skills in English
